February PMSIG – Managing Best Practices, an Interview with Rob Sabourin

We were excited to have world-renowned software development consultant and McGill University professor Rob Sabourin to tell us tales from over 40 years of experience working with Program / Project / and Product Managers!

Rob agreed to be interviewed journalist-style by PMSIG host and facilitator Jon Bach, who has known Rob for 20 years and has worked with him on a few strategic projects. He’ll give us his advice about what a good manager does to evolve the value of delivery.

About our speaker: Robert Sabourin has more than thirty-eight years of management experience leading teams of software development professionals. A highly respected member of the software engineering community, Rob has managed, trained, mentored, and coached hundreds of top professionals in the field. He frequently speaks at conferences and writes on software engineering, SQA, testing, management, and internationalization. Rob authored I am a Bug!, the popular software testing children’s book, works as an adjunct professor of software engineering at McGill University, and serves as the principal consultant (and president/janitor) of AmiBug.Com, Inc.
